Nunzios Kitchen Information

Nunzios Kitchen has become one of those go‑to spots I find myself recommending without even realizing it, especially if someone mentions craving a mix of hearty comfort food with a slightly elevated twist. Right off 521 Raritan St, this place has an easy‑to‑miss exterior that somehow adds to its charm - you walk in and instantly feel like you’ve stumbled into a hidden gem in your own neighborhood. From the minute you glance at the menu, you can tell they take pride in crafting dishes that are both familiar and exciting, with generous portions that make you smile before the first bite even arrives.

I remember my first visit more for the warm, welcoming buzz inside than anything else. The atmosphere is relaxed and lively without being loud, like the kind of diner where the regulars chat with the staff by name and newcomers are invited into the conversation. The service plays a big part in that, too - friendly, attentive, and never rushing you, even when the lunch rush hits a high note. It’s one of those places where you can sit back with a coffee and really savor the experience, whether you’re there for breakfast, brunch, or a casual dinner.

Speaking of the menu, it’s refreshingly diverse. You’ll find classic diner favorites done really well - think fluffy omelets, perfectly crisp bacon, and pancakes that hit that sweet spot between light and satisfying. But then there are the standout specials that show off a bit of culinary creativity, like their take on hearty sandwiches or the way they plate up seasonal salads. I’ve seen food reviews mention the fried chicken sandwich as a must‑try, and having had it myself, I can attest to its juicy, well‑seasoned goodness that doesn’t skimp on flavor. The daily specials board also keeps things interesting; I once tried a mushroom risotto that was so comforting I told half the table I’d be back next week just to order it again.

For locals and visitors alike, Nunzios Kitchen feels like a location worth adding to your rotation. Whether you’re after a relaxed brunch with friends or a satisfying meal to wrap up your day, the combination of great food, friendly service, and that easygoing vibe makes it a spot I’m always happy to revisit.

What People's Say About Place

I recently had lunch here, and everything we ordered was so good. The garlic knots were fresh, soft, and had just the right amount of garlic. The shrimp scampi was filling and so flavorful, and the linguine in garlic and oil with parmesan and red pepper was simple but delicious. The portions were just right and everything tasted fresh. Definitely coming back to try more. The owner also mentioned there will be a new menu coming soon, which I’m excited to check out.

New owners at this local pizza stop. Many gourmet pies to choose from in addition to an extensive pasta and entree menu. Chicken monterosa was fabulous as well as the chicken di pepe. Service with a smile! Lovely experience over all. I was told new menu items (including salmon and veal) are coming soon.

I came to this place, and the truth is that the pizza was very good, they have many types of pizza, and the guys are very friendly, especially the new owner, Frank, will definitely come back again.

This place is so good! Portions are amazing and delicious as well as the dessert! Also, the staff is so nice!

Delicious food, a wide variety of dishes and desserts, very friendly staff, excellent service, a clean and pleasant place, perfect for the whole family.

This spot feels warm and inviting from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is relaxed and easygoing which makes the experience even better. The food quality really stands out with plenty of great choices to pick from and everything tastes fresh and well made. The Nutella pizza is an absolute must try and easily one of the highlights of the visit.

Good luck to the new owners!!!! Ordered takeout for lunch--food was delicious--from the Pizza Fina, Sausage Parm and a Happy Salad! Garlic knots were an added surprise and were delicious, as was all the food.
